When looking for a classy home upgrade to their Arabian Ranches villa, this family contacted Smart Renovation – an expert fit out and interior design company in Dubai. “The look the client wanted to achieve was immediately clear to us,” explains Cinzia Tedeschi, interior designer and fit out consultant at Smart Renovation. Having lived in their Arabian Ranches home for 10 years, the family of four contacted Cinzia and the rest of the interior fit out company’s team in order to give their home an elegant refresh. “As the mum had a lot of clothes, their main priority was to extend the master bedroom and create a dreamy walk-in wardrobe.”
After gaining permission from Emaar, Smart Renovation began with the renovation fit out. Their goal was to not only expand the space, but also to improve the layout of the bedroom – creating a flow between the ensuite and closet. Downstairs, the home’s previous brown colour palette was given a bright refresh, using sophisticated light fittings to elevate the style. Choosing all new furniture for the home also fell to Cinzia, who took the family shopping in order to help guide the purchases. “I always shop with my clients,” she explains, “I help them to create a flow with the choices they make. It’s important there is someone to oversee the buying process, so that a cohesive look can be achieved when the furniture is put together in the space.”
Going for a sophisticated look, interior designer, Cinzia helped select furniture and accessories that stayed within a neutral colour scheme, with a particular emphasis on gold and grey hues. “It’s important to me that there’s a common thread between the whole house,” she said, “although some rooms can be slightly different in colour palette, it is really important that you choose a style and stick to it.” The elegant feel achieved by the interior design company continues into the kitchen where the brown cabinets were wrapped in a bright white finish. Although the kitchen wasn’t a priority for the family, Cinzia wanted to refresh the space so that it would fit their lifestyle and the home’s stylish feel.
Four months later, the entire project was complete, and the home’s unified finish is breathtakingly different from where it began. “The family loved the transformation of their home,” says Cinzia. “They were impressed that we were able to achieve the refined aesthetic that they required in just a few months. This is because with our many years of experience, bringing a vision to life comes easy to us.” When asked about their thoughts about the renovation and the interior design, the homeowner said, “Smart Renovation made my dreams come true, they turned my house into a beautiful home.
