Don’t miss these exciting Dubai Home Festival events happening this weekend
Dubai Home Festival is here for its second year, and interior-lovers can expect deals, masterclasses and shopping experiences for all things home related until October 10. The penultimate weekend of the event starts today (October 1), so if you’ve been in the market for some new homeware bits, now is the time to do it. That’s because throughout the festival there are offers of up to 75 per cent across 40 different home furnishings shops across Dubai including Crate & Barrel, Villeroy & Boch, IKEA and Bloomingdale’s Dubai (check the brands Instagram for more details). Here are the main things you won’t want to miss this weekend:
Visit the special edition Ripe Market
Known for its handcrafted items and quirky finds, the Ripe Market brings its exclusive home edition to Nakheel Mall this weekend. On Friday and Saturday, you’ll find local sellers showcasing their eclectic designs and one-off pieces. Head down to the The Palm located mall between 10am and 7pm to pick up a unique find (or 12).
Pick up basics at THE One in Al Quoz
This weekend – to celebrate the showrooms post-covid reopening – you can get 20 per cent off everything in their basics collection. Pop down to the shop in Al Quoz between 10am and 8pm, Thursday to Saturday to browse the selection and avail the offer. If you can’t make it this weekend fret not, as THE One are offering a surprise deal every day of the festival (until 10th) in their Jumeirah and Al Quoz store.
Spend and win
If you spend Dhs500 at Danube Home in Al Barsha you’ll be entered into a draw to win a Dhs10,000 home makeover, a Dhs5,000 garden makeover or a two-night stay at the Burj Khalifa. Planning on picking up some budget home furnishing this weekend? Do it at Home Centre and you’ll be in for a chance at winning a complete room makeover (worth up to Dhs5,000) where the stylist will take into account your style goals. And while you’re at Nakheel Mall for the Ripe Market, spend just Dhs250 in any homeware shop and be entered to win a furniture set from JYSK worth Dhs25,000.
