The Solution
The goal was to create a sophisticated concealed office zone that could be seamlessly integrated within the kitchen cabinetry. A bespoke unit with folding doors, featuring a sunburst veneer detail, was designed and mirrors the finishes found throughout the kitchen to offer a sense of cohesion and artistry. By day, it functions as a beautifully tailored workspace with ample room for essentials. Evenings see the doors closed to reveal a sculptural surface, with all traces of the busy working day easily tucked away, preserving the apartment’s serene ambience. The client’s deep appreciation of natural materials shaped the soul of the design. A striking labradorite stone paired with warm, natural wood veneer finishes is a clear showstopper and the overall result is a residence that is not only elegant but also effortlessly functional.
